In its 2024 edition, featuring artists like Myke Towers and Rauw Alejandro, more than 60,000 people passed through the venue’s entrances in a single day.

Managing that volume, without queues, incidents, and in real time, is exactly what we do at Exyt.

The challenge: 60,000 people, zero margin for error

A festival of this magnitude doesn’t forgive errors in access control. The CCME organizers needed to:

Validate tickets in seconds, without generating queues at the entrances

Eliminate duplicate or counterfeit tickets

Control capacity in real time and by zone

Manage separate accreditations for staff, artists, tour party, press, and VIPs

A standard solution wasn’t enough. They needed a system proven in massive events.

The solution: Exyt technology deployed at CCME

Digital accreditations before the event

Each attendee received their accreditation with a unique QR code before the festival, in digital format. This eliminated manual management at the door and reduced entry time per person.

QR and NFC validation at all entrances

Entry points were equipped with QR validation devices and NFC technology. The result was fast, secure, and frictionless access, even during peak times.

Real-time capacity control

The organizing team monitored the flow of attendees by area at all times from a centralized platform, allowing them to act before overcrowding occurred.

Differentiated accreditations by profile

Artists, tour party members, content creators, staff, and VIPs received personalized accreditations with specific permissions for each area of the venue: backstage, exclusive areas, and restricted access points.

Results
✅ Over 60,000 accesses managed in a single day
✅ 50% reduction in average entry time
✅ Zero duplicates or forgeries detected
✅ Steady flow of access during peak hours
✅ Real-time capacity control by zone

What we learned together

Working on an event like CCME confirms three things we apply to every project:

Preparation is everything. Digital accreditations sent before the event eliminate chaos at the entrance.
The technology must be invisible to the attendee. If the system works well, the public simply enters. No waiting, no friction.
The Exyt team works within the event, not from the outside. Coordination with the CCME organizers was seamless, from planning to closing the entrances.

Are you organizing a festival or large-scale event?

If you need an access control system proven at events with more than 60,000 people, we can help.

Tell us about your event →

The Coca-Cola Music Experience (CCME) is one of the biggest music festivals in Spain.
